Initiations are on Sunday 11th May

A new group for beginners in Sanskrit on starts on Monday 21st April 4.45 – 5.45 in the Blue Room and will be followed by the usual chanting in the Top Studio at 6.00.

The Bhagavad Gita group meets at 6.45 -7.45 in the Blue Room beginning on Thursday 10th April.

A one-time resident of this house was Sir Edward Burne-Jones who hired the top studio to complete his great work “Last Days of Arthur at Avalon” – a huge canvas. It was purchased by a Puerto Rican millionaire in the 1960’s and has its current home there. It is to go on exhibition in London for the first time at Tate Britain from
April 15 2008. The previous day, April 14, at 11 a.m. BBC Radio Four will have a programme about the painting, including the time it was at Colet. The Study Society contributed to the recorded discussion.
